2. What This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. It applies to all personal data collected through:

  • Our website at rokstrat.com
  • Our scorecard and business diagnostic tool at score.rokstrat.com
  • Our newsletter, The Unfair Advantage
  • Our Register Interest and application forms

  • Any direct communication with us by email, phone, or social media

3. What Personal Data We Collect

3.1 When You Visit Our Website

We collect standard technical data through cookies, analytics tools, and tracking technologies, including your IP address (anonymised where possible), browser type and version, device type, operating system, pages visited and time spent, referring website or source, and approximate geographic location. We may also use advertising and retargeting pixels from Meta, LinkedIn, and Google/YouTube to measure advertising effectiveness. See Section 6 for full details.

3.2 When You Complete Our Scorecard

Our Untapped Potential Score scorecard at score.rokstrat.com is hosted by ScoreApp. When you complete the scorecard, we collect your name, email address, company name, job title or role, business revenue range, and your responses to approximately 45 diagnostic questions across 10 business dimensions. Your responses are used to generate a personalised business diagnostic report.

3.3 When You Subscribe to Our Newsletter

When you sign up to The Unfair Advantage newsletter, we collect your name and email address. Our newsletter is managed through Kit (formerly ConvertKit).

3.4 When You Register Interest or Apply to Join Rokstrat

Our Register Interest form is hosted by Tally. When you submit an application, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), company name and role, business revenue and stage, and any additional information you choose to share in free-text responses.

3.5 When You Contact Us Directly

If you email us, message us on social media, or speak with us by phone, we may collect your name and contact details, the content of your communication, and any attachments or files you share with us.

4. How We Use Your Data

To deliver our services and content — including generating your personalised scorecard report, sending you our newsletter, processing your application to join a Rokstrat advisory group, and responding to your enquiries.

To communicate with you — sending you relevant information about Rokstrat's programmes, events, and content that we believe will be valuable to you based on your expressed interests.

To improve our website and services — using analytics data to understand how people use our website, which content is most useful, and how we can improve the experience.

To measure and optimise our advertising — using tracking pixels and tags from third-party advertising platforms to measure performance, understand how visitors reach our website, and build audiences for retargeting.

To protect our business and comply with the law — including maintaining security, preventing fraud, and meeting our legal obligations.

We will never sell your personal data to third parties. We will never share your data with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

Consent — where you have given us clear, affirmative consent to process your data for a specific purpose. This applies to newsletter sign-ups, marketing communications, and the use of non-essential advertising and retargeting cookies and pixels. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Legitimate interests — where processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights. This applies to website analytics, improving our services, and communicating with prospective members.

Contract or pre-contractual steps — where processing is necessary to deliver services you have signed up for or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Legal obligation — where we are required to process your data to comply with a legal obligation, such as tax, accounting, or regulatory requirements.

6. Cookies, Pixels, and Tracking Technologies

6.1 Essential Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to ensure basic website functionality. These cannot be disabled without affecting how the site works and do not require your consent.

6.2 Analytics Cookies

We use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation enabled to collect anonymised data about website traffic and usage patterns. You can opt out at any time by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on or adjusting your browser cookie settings.

6.3 Advertising and Retargeting Technologies

We may use the following technologies, which will only be activated with your consent: the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) to measure advertising effectiveness and build retargeting audiences; the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure LinkedIn advertising effectiveness and access aggregated demographic insights about our website visitors; and Google/YouTube tags to measure advertising effectiveness across Google's platforms. You can manage your advertising preferences directly within each platform's settings.

6.4 Managing and Opting Out

Non-essential cookies, pixels, and tags will not be activated until you have given your consent through our cookie consent mechanism. You can change your preferences at any time. You can also opt out through browser settings or industry opt-out tools at youronlinechoices.eu.

7. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with trusted third-party service providers under written agreements that require them to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

1. About the Scorecard

The Untapped Potential Score (the "Scorecard") is a business diagnostic tool created and provided by Rokstrat Limited. It is available at score.rokstrat.com and is hosted by our technology partner, ScoreApp. The Scorecard asks you to respond to approximately 45 questions across 10 dimensions of your business and generates a personalised diagnostic report including an overall score, dimension-level scores, and commentary designed to help you reflect on areas of strength and potential improvement.

2. Educational and Informational Purpose

The Scorecard is provided strictly as an educational and informational tool. It is designed to prompt reflection, highlight potential areas of focus, and support your own strategic thinking.

The Scorecard does not constitute, and is not intended to constitute, any form of professional advice, including financial advice, legal advice, tax advice, accounting advice, investment advice, or regulated business advice. It is not a substitute for professional due diligence, formal business valuations, financial audits, legal opinions, or any other form of professional assessment.

3. Self-Reported Data

The Scorecard results are generated entirely from the responses you provide. The accuracy and usefulness of your results depend entirely on the accuracy, completeness, and honesty of your responses. We do not independently verify, audit, or validate the information you provide. If your responses are incomplete, inaccurate, or based on outdated information, your results may not reflect the true position of your business.

4. Results Are Indicative Only

Your Scorecard results, including your overall score, dimension scores, and all accompanying commentary, are indicative only. They represent a snapshot based on self-reported data and are intended to support, not replace, your own judgment and professional advice. Scores and commentary are generated using the APEX Value Acceleration Framework and represent our general perspective on business value creation. Reasonable people may interpret the same data differently, and different methodologies may produce different conclusions.

5. Do Not Rely on Results Alone

You should not make significant business, financial, legal, structural, or strategic decisions based solely on the results of the Scorecard. Before acting on any insight, score, or suggestion generated by the Scorecard, we strongly recommend that you seek independent professional advice from qualified advisors familiar with your specific circumstances, industry, and objectives. The Scorecard is designed to complement, not replace, professional advisory relationships.

6. No Warranty

The Scorecard is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rokstrat makes no representations or warranties of any kind regarding the Scorecard or the results it generates, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rokstrat Limited, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, expense, or liability of any kind arising out of or in connection with your use of the Scorecard, your reliance on any results generated by it, or any decisions you make based on the Scorecard results.

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales.
